Founder of Chippenham-based, Purpol Marketing, Denise O’Leary, has been invited to be a keynote speaker at the Women in Construction Conference as part of The Big 5, International Building and Construction event in Dubai on 28 November.
Challenging popular misconceptions which deem construction to be “a man’s job,” the Women in Construction Seminar aims to be “eye-opening and inspirational” to “countless” professionals in this industry.
Addressing the need to reinvent gender diversity in the workplace, delegates will hear from “strong, powerful and successful women” who are “changing the game and setting an example for other women in the construction industry.”
Denise founded Purpol Marketing to provide “specialised consultancy” for marketing strategy and tender bid management specifically to SMEs with a key focus on the construction and manufacturing sectors.
She will be featured in the discussion: How can non-technical professions contribute to the success of the construction industry? showcasing how marketing professionals can put the client at the centre of marketing strategies and successful business development activity to win more business.
According to Purpol Marketing, the Big 5 Dubai is the “largest and best” construction event of the Middle East, now in its 39th edition making it the “flagship event”for leaders in construction.
Denise said: “I was contacted directly from Dubai to be part of this prestigious seminar that will celebrate the female workforce powering the construction industry, raise awareness of the need for diversity and empower the next generation. Having been a speaker in 2017 on how to win bids, I am thrilled to be invited back for such an important event.”
