Chippenham’s Purpol Marketing has been acknowledged as one of the top 10 companies to work with in the ‘Best Construction Supplier to Work With (Under £25m)’ category at the Construction Enquirer Awards 2017.
The Construction Enquirer Awards are dedicated to recognising the industry’s best companies to work for and the best firms to do business with. Sponsored by companies such as Screwfix, Cemex, Hadley Group and Engage, they’re notable from other awards because the winning organisations are voted for by their peers. Fellow contractors, clients, and suppliers all cast their votes, with these national awards receiving a reach of more than 10,000 votes cast by the industry.
Founder of Purpol Marketing, Denise O’Leary and senior consultant Gavin White have both developed their careers within the manufacturing and construction sector and aim to bring their insight to provide director level marketing and bid management consultancy to construction and manufacturing companies. Purpol claims to sustain a success rate of 95% of the tender bids on behalf of its clients, comparable to an industry average of 60-65%.
Denise described the achievement as “remarkable.” She said: “We are a micro business in a classification of businesses whose turnover could be 100-times larger than ours. To be voted by the industry is a huge honour, and I would like to thank our peers, clients and supply chain for backing us and being so fantastic to work with. I look forward to continuing the year developing winning tender documents and magnificent marketing campaigns for our fabulous construction sector clients.”
Enquirer editor, Aaron Morby, added: “The industry has voted in vast numbers for its favourite firms making these awards the real people’s choice.”
This year’s awards evening will take place in Birmingham on 10 October, alongside UK Construction Week.
