A young apprentice at Priority IT is celebrating after securing a full-time job with the Trowbridge firm which provides specialist IT support to Wiltshire’s businesses.

Adam Townsend joined the firm – which has just taken on its second apprentice – from Wiltshire College where he obtained an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification in IT.

The 19-year-old has been promoted to the position of junior IT technician and will help deal with technical queries from the firm’s many business clients.

Priority IT also welcomes new apprentice Cameron Livingstone-Elder who joins the firm from Wiltshire College. He and Adam will both be working towards their Level 4 Apprenticeship and CompTIA Network+ qualifications to develop further their IT skills.

Priority IT’s managing director, Kieran Thomas, said: “We are delighted to announce that Adam – who was our first ever apprentice – has now been given a full-time role with the firm.

“We have been impressed with his hard work and determination and wish him every success in his new job. We are also pleased to welcome Cameron as our second apprentice and also wish him well.”
