Setting realistic expectations and being able to be level headed about the bad time and mishaps, means you build resilience and can move on positively.

There are many different avenues to take when it comes to supporting each other within a business, whether it is because it’s your legal obligation or not, taking care of your team and encouraging a community that takes care of each other, helps each other and can point each other in the right direction is something that will help the business through difficult times. 

Covid has posed a big threat to those who are more vulnerable due to their health, so it’s important that your business looks after your more vulnerable staff accordingly. Make sure you not only provide them with what they need to work from home, but also provide them with support in other areas. By providing this positive support, instead of only seeing the negatives, you could make the world of difference. Try to Have Fun
All work and no play is never the way to a positive work environment, yes you must stay professional at all times, and yes the work needs to be done, but when you don’t allow time for breaks or you find yourself or your team are more stressed than they need to be then you can’t expect creativity or motivation in abundance. Even if you only find a very short amount of time for ‘fun’ you will be surprised at the difference it can make within the business, processes tend to speed up, and you can feel a change in attitude within a short space of time.
