Politicians briefing for business

By Anita Jaynes on 21 May, 2014

Swindon Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ‘Politicians briefing for business’ on Friday 13 June at the Swindon Marriott Hotel. Key speakers are Justin Tomlinson MP for Swindon North and Robert Buckland MP for Swindon South.

Justin was elected as the MP for North Swindon in May 2010, having previously represented the Abbey Meads ward in North Swindon for 10 years on Swindon Borough Council. Robert was elected as MP for South Swindon in May 2010 and since then has been active in engaging with the Swindon business and residential community.

The event is the latest of the Swindon Chamber’s business briefings, aimed at bringing local politicians and business leaders together with the wider business community. The informal discussion will take place over breakfast, giving chamber members and international business leaders the chance to discuss current economic and trading conditions and government priorities.

There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A session where the politicians will answer questions close to your heart.

The itinerary is as follows:

7:30am Registration & networking

8:00am Breakfast and speakers followed by Q&A

9:30am Close
