Julian House will hold the Brain of Wessex Grand Corporate Quiz for the second time at the Trowbridge Civic Centre on Thursday 22 February 2018 and Stephanie Millward, the double Paralympian gold medallist in Swimming, will be the quizmaster.
Last year at the Brain of Wessex – which was won by Winchester College – participants included, Monahans, Wansbroughs, Forrester Sylvester Mackett, Pearson May and Cumberwell Park Golf Club. The sponsor of the event in 2018 will again be Pearson May.
The charity is looking for businesses and organisations from around the West and North Wiltshire and the Kennet area to enter teams of eight to compete for the “coveted” title of ‘Brain of Wessex’ and the ‘Brain’ sculpture trophy – currently on display at Wiltshire College’s Lackham campus.
Organiser, Stephen Chesworth from Julian House, said: “The venue is terrific but I’m sure the main reason that companies support it is the fact that it is a cracking night out. It’s great for team building and networking and a fun way to support the work of Julian House and its work with the homeless and excluded men and women.”
Entering a team of eight will cost £320 a team (including a light supper). To register a team go directly to www.julianhouse.org.uk/support-us/fundraising-event/brain-of-wessex.htm
