Toby Carvery has announced the opening of a new restaurant in Trowbridge, the first of its kind in the area. Located on the new Cradle Bridge Retail Park, County Way.
When it opens on May 22 it will create 40 new jobs and be able to serve up to 160 diners.
The brand is owned by Birmingham-based Mitchells & Butlers who also own All Bar One, Harvester and Browns Restaurants.
The Trowbridge restaurant will mark the chain’s 173rd outlet and their second in Wiltshire. Their first branch is at Blunsdon St Andrew, Swindon.
Specialising in roast dinners and chain is dubbed ‘The Home of the Roast’.
Andrew Wiles, general manager at Toby Carvery Trowbridge, said: “We just can’t wait for the people of Trowbridge and the surrounding areas to visit us and experience their brand-new Toby Carvery.
“Once open the restaurant will offer a family-sized feast of four roast carvery joints, freshly cooked everyday, alongside eight types of seasonal veg including roasties, mash and the full monty of accompaniments.”
Toby Carvery has formed a charity partnership with The Royal British Legion, and the new Trowbridge restaurant will be supporting with fundraising initiatives over the next two years. Toby Carvery aims to raise £100,000 for The Royal British Legion by the end of 2018.
