Today Monday 14 December, Swindon’s C&D Recruitment have opened the doors for the first time of their brand new flagship recruitment centre on Havelock Street, in the heart of the town centre.

The new C&D Recruitment Centre idea is to offer more than just another employment agency on the high street, but a dedicated walk-in centre for candidates serious about securing temporary and part-time employment with some of the UK’s top employers.

Greig Evenett is the new centre manager for Swindon. He has 15 years experience in the recruitment industry and is delighted at the intensified focus on the candidate. He said: “The candidate experience is a vital first step in recruiting.  While everybody in recruitment talks about this, our recruitment centres will be specifically working to make the candidate experience a meaningful and productive one.  For instance, one of the first things we will be doing is opening for business every Saturday to enable candidates who cannot visit during the week, to come in to talk to our specialist recruiters in person.”

CEO Karen Davison added: “We confidently provide a candidate experience second to none thanks to the outstanding calibre of our specialist recruiters. Quality training at C&D by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has been significantly increased on the back of recent research that clearly demonstrates candidates’ motivation improves when their recruitment experience is positive.  Added to that, we recruit for some of the top employers in the UK and they understand and support our focus on what good recruitment looks like.”

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation through their member agencies, like C&D has launched ‘The Good Recruitment Campaign’ which already has over 100 blue chip organisations signed up such as, Jaguar, Land Rover, Johnson & Johnson and Wincanton.

To celebrate the opening of the new C&D recruitment centre on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December new candidates registering their recruitment needs can enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas cup cakes.
