Chippenham based specialist sales training provider, Sales Coaching Solutions has ended 2014 on a high with the appointment of a new recruit, Alex Elliott as sales and marketing manager.
Psychology graduate Alex joins the team following the completion of her degree this summer. She studied at the University of Southampton and finished with a first class honours degree.
Alex joins the team lead by company founder Alison Edgar who recruited for the position via the Grads for Growth scheme. An initiative that supports SMES and graduates in the South West, providing businesses with support, ideas and investment, with graduates gaining meaningful employment and business experience.
Alex hopes to bring her psychological knowledge to the role by incorporating theories and research into marketing initiatives and module development. Alex said: “I am so happy to be joining Sales Coaching Solutions. I’m looking forward to learning about how a business operates and getting stuck in with responsibility straight away. It’s exciting to be involved now as the business is growing massively, with no signs of slowing down.”
Alison commented: “I am thrilled to be bringing Alex into the business. She’ll fit into the team really well and can offer the business fresh, new perspectives and idea implementation.”
As well as taking on an innovative project under the Grads for Growth scheme and her job role, Alex is also studying for an IT and leadership and management qualification. She said: “Alison has been very supportive of me, encouraging me to study and develop my knowledge. I am eager to bring what I learn to the job and do what I can to help grow the business.”
