The Brunel Centre in Swindon town centre has appointed Kevin Gwilliam, 57, as general manager.

With extensive experience of managing large retail department stores and shopping centres Kevin was most recently centre manager at Leed’s Crossgate centre.

Kevin has overseen a new development and a large centre in Wolverhampton plus two satellite centres in the Midlands, and a new centre in Ashford.  His early career saw his rise from management trainee to general manager of Debenhams’ flagship store in London’s Oxford Street.

Kevin said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at The Brunel and I am really looking forward to getting to know the town better.  This is a really exciting time for Swindon with several major projects in the pipeline and I am very much relishing becoming a part of the business community that contributes to that.”
