Diane Priestley has joined the family-run home care and support company Butterfly as a senior carer.
The 38-year-old recently took up the role on her return to the UK after more than a decade working and living overseas. Much of her career has been in healthcare. She is fast becoming a valued member of Butterfly which operates throughout Wiltshire and Bath.
Diane, who now lives in Warminster, said: “Here, I’ve found a role where I can genuinely care for clients and help them to be as independent as possible. I’ve always believed in caring for someone the way I would wish to be cared for myself – and Butterfly has that ethos too.”
Butterfly was set up by Anne and Eric Pelling eight years ago in the city of Bath. The business expanded into Wiltshire during 2013 establishing a base in Westbury and now employs 58 people.
The business is inspected and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and is able to work with people in receipt of direct payments for their care 0r support at home.
