Situated between Bristol, Newbury, Swindon and Salisbury, Wellington Barn is a family-owned business with a capacity of up to 300 guests. 

An easily adaptable venue, the site’s 2,712 feet of floor space can be arranged and decorated to suit a variety of events including weddings, product launches, corporate parties and conferences.

With 360-degree views up to the Lansdowne Monument at Cherhill and beyond, Wellington Barn and its surrounding meadows are attractive, private and exclusive spaces for any occasion. 

As well as three luxury Shepherd Huts offering overnight stays for couples, the facility also features onsite glamping with five large tents available which sleep 2 – 4 guests in each.

Two areas form ‘The Barns’, (the original 400-year-old ‘Old Barn’ plus the larger modern extension ‘The New Barn’), available to use individually or together, and connected by the fully stocked licensed bar. The Old Barn accommodates 60-70 people theatre style, 50 people for seated dining or 150 people reception style. 

The New Barn holds up to 200 people theatre style, 140 – 180 cabaret style / seated dining and up to 300 for a standing buffet. The New Barn boasts huge panoramic windows with uninterrupted, extensive views across the rolling Wiltshire landscape, yours to enjoy anytime of year. It’s like having a little bit of Wiltshire all to yourself. Priceless!

Hyggee House 

Since 2022, Hyggee House by the Lake is now also available for bookings. This eco-house sits privately overlooking the picturesque lake just half a mile away from Wellington Barn. It sleeps 8-10 adults and provides a tranquil place to stay, tucked away in a quiet corner of the village.

Hyggee House is available to book separately, on its own, or as part of a bigger event at Wellington Barn. Perfect for that very private senior board meeting; and catering can still be provided by the venue.
