Bradford-on-Avon’s Mogul Drinks is launching Mogul Spritz Liqueur – a premium offering the Founders are hoping will challenge market titan Aperol.
Aperol currently holds up to 97% of the spritz market share. Mogul is hoping that its three unique brand flavours, Citrus Lemon with Juniper, Blood Orange with Raspberry and Pink Grapefruit with Yuzu, will put Mogul firmly in the mix of the market.
Mogul Spritz Liqueur will be available from mid-April in a selection of premium venues across Wiltshire, Somerset and the Cotswolds.
Launch partners include The Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury, Kaleidoscope Collection hotels in Bath and a number of Pig hotels.
Founders Robert Hobbs and Sara Harrod set up Mogul after successful corporate careers.
Robert said, “Despite the challenge of taking on industry giant Aperol, I really believe in the uniqueness of our product and its potential to become a staple of summer gatherings.
“We are already in talks with a selection of our premium stockists on how we can create incredible summer experiences for their customers, so watch this space as these events will be not-to-be-missed.”
Sara added, “We know it is going to be a really exciting Summer for us. We are filling a gap in the market that is currently going unchallenged and to keep up this positive momentum we will be launching our kickstarter campaign next month. We have some fantastic opportunities for people to get involved and be part of our journey.”
