Method’s annual charity day builds bridges for Wiltshire

Specialist sustainability and engineering consultancy Method recently held their annual charity day volunteering to help a local good cause.

15 members of Method’s young engineers and sustainability consultants team volunteered to help Wiltshire Council’s Rights of Way and Countryside team install two new footbridges in Pewsey. The day went very well as the group managed to complete the task and complete both bridges, whilst enjoying the challenge too.

A spokesperson for the council wrote to Method and said: “Thanks for all your group’s help, you all worked really well and to get both bridges in and finished is a wonderful achievement.”

Method’s charity representative, Charlotte Whitlock said: “It was a hot day and hard work physically, but it was fun and a good team-building experience. Above all, it gave us an opportunity to contribute to the Wiltshire community. We’re already looking forward to next year’s charity day.”

Method is based on the South Marston Park estate in Swindon. To find out more about them visit: www.methodllp.com
