Established in 2009 by Andrew Bontoft and Benjamin Hosack, Foregenix has expanded globally and now has offices and consultancy teams operating in over 20 countries including South Africa, Germany and Australia as well as North America. Its latest overseas office in São Paulo opened earlier this year.

The company’s team of specialists are drawn from a range of backgrounds including law enforcement, counterterrorism and specialised digital security and are renowned experts in their respective fields. Combining their knowledge and experience allows Foregenix to create easy-to-use solutions to protect businesses from cybercriminals and keep data safe.

The company provides penetration testing, and forensics and incident response services in cases where systems have been compromised. It also offers its own range of software solutions to detect intrusions and protect against threats.

The use of digital payments has been rising rapidly in recent years, with the number of transactions expected to reach 726 billion by 2020.
