To celebrate the finalists in our inaugural Techies Awards 2018, we are running a series of profiles on the tech firms that caught our judges eye.
Here we put the spotlight on ISN, finalist in the Best Tech Support Service and Cloud Innovation of the Year categories.

Established in 2008, Intuitive Systems & Networks Ltd (ISN) offers a complete range of standard and bespoke IT infrastructure solutions tailored to suit individual business needs and budgets.
The company was formed from the ashes of a larger corporate IT supplier which was failing to meet the demands of its customers in a fast-moving technological era. ISN’s founders quickly recognised there was a market for a flexible, cost-effective company to supply high-level service to larger blue-chip organisations.
ISN’s first customer contract was with Moto Hospitality, running IT across their motorway service station network. Since then the company has developed a broad client base offering a comprehensive range of solutions for businesses including secure networks, firewalls, data centres, wireless implementation, 24/7 help-desk, software upgrades, office moves and relocations, remote access, bespoke systems design and disaster recovery.
Today ISN provides services across all sectors including hospitality, healthcare and the emergency services, partnering with companies with small local teams to businesses employing thousands of staff worldwide.
Independent of any technology supplier, ISN uses only recommended industry standards, best-of-breed technology solutions and best-practice services developed from over 25 years of enterprise-level experience. This combination has helped it to retain the vast majority of its customers long term, with a near zero churn rate. ISN’s team have outstanding industry expertise and knowledge. This coupled with a desire to create bespoke IT solutions and designs results in ISN being seen a trusted advisor by it’s customers.
Recent achievements for ISN include two Comms National Awards for Best SME Wireless Solution and Best Enterprise Wireless Solution, and being named as finalists at the IT Europa Awards for SME Solution of the year. The company has also attained the Cisco Advanced Security Accreditation which has only been achieved by 12 other suppliers in the UK.
“Being short listed for these awards really means something, it’s reassuring that the value and technical innovation within ISN’s solutions is being recognised by industry peers. Being a technical company ISN really appreciates the recognition given through awards such as these which judge solutions on technical merits rather than glossy brochures.” John Broadway, Technical Director, ISN
“We are all delighted that ISN have been chosen as finalists in two categories in the inaugural Techie awards this year. Being shortlisted is an acknowledgement of the skills and passion of our staff. It reiterates the hard work, commitment and value we put into our customer projects, providing the best possible solution and customer service. We look forward to a great evening celebrating with the other finalists on the 10th May.” Richard Titheradge, Operations Director, ISN
