The market towns of Melksham and Trowbridge are proving popular choices for a string of new businesses.

Commercial property specialists Kavanaghs have reported four new lettings this month with three new business openings in Melksham and one in Trowbridge.

Unit 10 Bank Street in Melksham has been let to John Stuart Funeral Directors. 17 Market Place, Melksham has been let to Total Carpets and Flooring and unit 6-8 Bank Street is to become a new italian restaurant, Casa.

The fit out to the new restaurant has already commenced and is set to open in the new year. It’s a great location in the town with good pedestrian footfall, as well as visibility from passing traffic.  The new tenants have great vision and plans for the premises.

Total Carpets and Flooring is already occupying 17 Market Place and have already seen a number of new customers and enquiries.

Alison Williams associate director at Kavanaghs said: “The continued steady flow of applicants for retail premises in the Wiltshire market town locations, is resulting in more viewings offers and lettings. This demand indicates a strengthening of the market. In addition to these lettings, we have others in solicitors hands which are shortly due to complete”.
