Love Local Royal Wootton Bassett – Day 2

By Anita Jaynes on 20 September, 2020

It’s day two of our Love Local Royal Wootton Bassett campaign and today we’re putting the spotlight on K & E.J Crump & Son.

Situated at 120, High Street, this family butcher shop is famous across North Wiltshire for the ‘Bassett Banger’ and is known lovingly as ‘Crumps’.

The business was established in 1985 by Keith and Jean Crump and was taken over by their son Andy in 1999.

Crumps is open 6am-5pm Monday-Saturday and is closed on a Sunday. The butcher prides itself on offering only the very best of British meat, including specially selected Scotch Beef (matured for a minimum of 3 three weeks), Scotch and Welsh Lamb and local pork. It also sells game and venison, home made pies and accompaniments.

Next door to the butcher shop is Crump’s Coffee Shop & Cafe serving traditional English breakfasts, and wholesome lunches.
