It’s day 6 of our Love Local Old Town, Swindon, campaign sponsored by The National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) and today we’re putting the spotlight on The Core Juicery.
The Core Juicery and Kitchen on Devizes Road, Old Town is a healthy cafe that specialises in fresh juices and raw foods. It was set up by founder Kris Talikowski seven years ago, after spending eight years working with Jason Vale, one of the world’s leading experts in juicing for health.
The Core has three main elements to the business, the community cafe, juicing programmes – you can find out more online or in the shop, and The Core Juicery Retreats hosted in Marbella, where people can escape and discover juicing, raw food and yoga.
During lockdown the cafe was forced to close but Kris and the team quickly diversified offering fresh fruit and veg boxes either delivered or collected from the cafe. The Core has also been out in the community supporting key workers, by delivering batches of juices free of charge to provide a daily boost of nutrients for those on the frontline. You can find out more about its work here.
The Core Juicery and Kitchen is now open again and has signed up to the Eat Out To Help Out scheme. Between now and 31st August diners receive 50% off all food and juice in store Monday-Wednesday.
