Love Local Malmesbury – Day 4

By Anita Jaynes on 18 August, 2020

It’s day four of our Love Local Malmesbury campaign and today we’re putting the spotlight on The Wild Food Company, thanks to our sponsor Nathan Ind Financial Planning.

The Wild Food Company is an independent, family run health and whole food store located on Malmesbury’s High Street. It stocks a wide range of artisan products, organic and free-from foods, supplements, natural chemical free body care, cosmetics and environmentally friendly household products. It is also licensed and offers a range of locally produced craft beers, wines, ciders and spirits. Products are sourced from a range of suppliers with a focus on smaller and local sources where possible.

The Wild Food Company has a strict environmental policy and aims to have as little impact on the environment as possible. The shop recycles over 95% of all waste produced by the business and where possible distributes out of date products to the local community. Customers are encouraged to bring in their own containers to refill. Zero waste liquid refills include hand wash, washing up liquid, shampoo, conditioner, rice, nuts and cereals.

Love Local Malmesbury is part of The Business Exchange’s Love Local Wiltshire campaign (#LoveLocalWilts). Over the next 15 weeks we will be encouraging people to buy local, explore Wiltshire’s amazing towns and city and support the many independents which make this area so unique.
