For the next week (Saturday 29th August – Friday 4th September) we’re celebrating Corsham town centre, as part of our 15 week #LoveLocalWilts campaign.
Thanks to our sponsor Naturally Social we are putting the spotlight on some of the town’s amazing independent businesses.
About Corsham: Did you know?
Corsham is a medieval market town with royal connections. It was originally known as Cosseha and much of its early wealth derived from the wool and stone trades. It is well known for its free roaming peacocks who live at Corsham Court which is central to the town. The mansion house was originally linked to King Ethelred. Today the town is thriving with a population of around 13,000. In Wiltshire it’s rapidly becoming known as a digital hub with the establishment of the Digital Mansion House on Pickwick Road.
Spotlight on our first Love Local Corsham business: Corsham Deli
Corsham Deli is based on 18 High Street and is run by Bronwen and her small, dedicated team. It prides itself on providing a wide selection of cheeses, savouries and deli staples. The shelves are stacked with exciting treats from chillies and chutneys to chocolates, organic wine and more.
If you’re preparing for a special event, Corsham Deli also offers cheese cakes, perfect for weddings, christenings and other milestone events.
Visit Corsham Deli’s website to find out more: www.thedeliatcorsham.co.uk and follow them on Facebook.
Love Local Corsham is part of The Business Exchange’s Love Local Wiltshire campaign (#LoveLocalWilts). Over the next 15 weeks we are encouraging people to buy local, explore Wiltshire’s amazing towns and city and support the many independents which make this area so unique.
