It’s day 6 of our Love Local Chippenham campaign sponsored by Goughs Solicitors and today we’re putting the spotlight on Paprika Gifts.
Paprika Gifts is based in Chippenham’s Borough Parade shopping centre and offers a wide range of gifts, accessories, clothes and homeware.
The Paprika Gifts story started in 2003 when founder Anne Anderson decided to bring her love for seeking out stylish and interesting gifts for friends and family to a wider audience.
Anne originally started by building on her passion and knowledge of fabrics, patterns and fashion by opening a shop in Bath making handmade curtains and soft furnishings. Encouraged by frequent requests from customers for help in sourcing homewares and gifts, she started stocking a wider range of items.
In 2008 Anne took the next step and created Paprika Gifts, a shop dedicated to stocking a wide range of easily accessible and affordable gifts, homewares, and fashion items; each and every one hand selected with a friend or family member in mind.
Now Paprika Gifts not only has shops in Bath and Chippenham but also provides customers with the opportunity to browse and buy online.
Customers often tell Anne that the service they receive at Paprika is like having the assistance of a personal shopper, as the staff are genuinely interested in helping to ensure that each visitor leaves with exactly the right thing.
Anne said, “Our aim is to provide our customers with the widest possible choice of quality items that they wouldn’t find together anywhere else. We are proud to say that many of our gifts are sourced from local craftspeople and almost all come from design led UK companies.”
