think it’s so important to keep remembering what we are grateful for; our
health, our families, the small joys you can find in a day, even if it’s just
what’s for tea. I am making a huge effort to get outside every day for some
exercise and staying in touch regularly with my team; having a quick catch-up
chat always brightens my day.
How are you structuring your day? Have you changed your
tricky bit has been integrating the kids schooling. I would have normally had
an hour or so on my own each morning before the team arrived for the day. Now
that time is taken up with getting the kids set up and ready for home-school.

think the pandemic made me deliberately spend some time thinking about our
business; what Varn really is and what’s important to us as a team. We have

admire and enjoy working with. Life’s too short for our work to not be fun.

What are you most looking forward to when restrictions
can’t wait to have the team back in the office. I miss the face-to-face chat,
office laughter and I also really miss getting out and seeing clients.
What is your biggest goal this year?
sure that my business is thriving by ensuring my team are motivated and happy
in their jobs and by doing great work with clients that we love to work with.
What has the past nine months taught you and how has it shaped
your future for the better?
even with remote working going very well, I think this experience has taught me
we will always be an office-based company as we love working together and being
a team in the same space. My goal is to ensure our office environment is
engaging, dynamic and a place people want to come to, and I am exploring new
outdoor woodland based office spaces. Watch this space!
