Local Uncovered founder, takes her business website over Wiltshire’s borders

Sam Bertram, the founder of the Local Uncovered website which raises the profile of independent producers, is expanding her business into Berkshire and Hampshire during 2015.

The 41-year-old digital marketing expert, first created Local Uncovered for the county of Wiltshire last year (2014) as she saw the need to cater for newcomers and visitors wishing to find the unique and unusual within the community. The site has been so successful she’s now in the initial stages of taking it into neighbouring counties.

Sam said: “It’s clear that there is a need in Berkshire and Hampshire for a high quality directory like Local Uncovered with a truly local feel and flavour. Visitors to the site will soon be able to click on their preferred county and browse through information events and products which they can access within that local community.

“I’m  holding a series of talks where businesses and local people can meet me and discuss what they believe is important to showcase in their own community.”

Local Uncovered operates on a membership model and not on a commission basis. Annual membership fees are fixed and transparent and there is a single joining fee to create a business page.

Sam is inviting people to meet with her to talk about Local Uncovered at various venues across Berkshire and Hampshire during early January.
