Local traders wanted for Box Preschool Playgroup’s Christmas Market

By Anita Jaynes on August 21, 2015

Applications are now open for local stallholders to exhibit at the annual Box Preschool Playgroup Christmas Market.

The professionally run event vets traders on application to ensure there’s no stiff competition and that the stallholders complement one another. All proceeds from the stalls will go towards the charity run playgroup, which is Ofsted registered and supports working families. Stall prices start from £15.

This is an excellent opportunity for start-ups and small businesses to test their stock and engage with a local audience.

The Christmas Market will take place on Saturday December 5 at the Selwyn Hall in Box between 2-5pm.

The hall is packed each year with a whole selection of local produce from food to greetings cards, candles, jewellery, toys and decorations.

The market is free for children and adults will receive a complimentary drink with their £2.50 entry ticket purchased at the door. Plus the chance to win a great prize in the raffle (tickets to be sold separately).

Box Preschool is also appealing to local businesses to donate prizes for the raffle too, with all proceeds raised funding the group that currently supports 41 children.
