Local businesses are invited to visit the Castledown Enterprise Centre at Ludgershall near Tidworth to meet its new manager Andrea Bridgeman and take a look around the new facilities.
Castledown Enterprise Centre is part of The Enterprise Network (TEN), a £5.2m initiative led by Wiltshire Council using Government and EU funds to help and support micro and start-up businesses in the county.
The new facilities include a range of small offices at a very affordable monthly rent, ideal for businesses ready to take the next step from a home office, hot desks, meeting and training rooms and a large networking area.
“As well as all the practical facilities which create a great working environment, we offer free, expert and impartial business support to anyone, at whatever stage of their business,” said Andrea, who has a degree in business and entrepreneurship. “There are also business grants available which we can tell people all about. We are particularly keen to support military leavers and their partners who might be interested in setting up a business, as well as women entrepreneurs. We are offering a series of free networking events for women as it can be quite daunting to take that first step – but we can offer all the support that you need.”
“We also have hot desks which people can hire by the half day – and they can use our other Enterprise Centres across the county as well.”
Many of the new tenants at Castledown and TEN’s other Enterprise Centres at Salisbury, Royal Wotton Bassett and Trowbridge, have moved from home offices in order to grow their businesses and take advantage of the meeting and training rooms and networking opportunities.
Andrea has considerable experience in business development herself which she is keen to share. “I warmly invite anyone keen to come and have a look at the facilities we have at the Castledown Enterprise Centre, or to just come and chat about how we can help their business get off the ground, to call me on 01264 848311.”
The Castledown Enterprise Centre is on the Castledown Enterprise Park at Ludgershall, two miles from Tidworth and seven miles from Andover.
Since TEN launched, 30 people have been helped to start a new business, 96 existing businesses have received expert support and advice, 39 women-led enterprises have had support and more than 50 new jobs have been created across Wiltshire.
