Recruitment company Limelight Resourcing, founded in March 2014 by Charlie Collier, has enjoyed great success in their first year of trading.
As with most start up businesses, Charlie started Limelight Resourcing in the spare room of his house. Within three months he had to quickly source permanent office space to meet the demands the new venture was bringing.
Now based in Calne, Limelight Resourcing have moved offices three times and now employs three people, with room for a further two and an apprentice.
Limelight Resourcing believe they have enjoyed their success thanks to their innovative twist on the recruitment industry.
Managing director Charlie commented: “The recruitment industry has around 10,000 agencies, specialising in various sectors. Lots of organisations are now looking for new ways to attract and retain staff, without having the high costs involved. We are now partnering with local and national companies to reduce their cost per hire, streamlining the recruitment process and introducing a more direct sourcing service, compared to more traditional methods.
“With the market bouncing back from the recession, companies are now expanding quickly and still need to keep hiring costs to a minimum. The need for candidates is becoming very competitive and it’s now a candidate led market. Limelight offers clients more control over the process and visibility of every candidate available.
“I believe our ability at understanding each of our clients hiring strategies has allowed our steady and continued growth.”
Charlie is a big believer in hiring local talent and is keen to grow the business through a recruitment apprenticeship, which is now available through the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, which continues lobbying to professionalise the industry.
