Learn about work/life balance with Swindon Business Village

By Anita Jaynes on 23 June, 2016

Coach, stress counsellor and author Carl Rosier-Jones will be help business people learn to sit back and relax when he gives a talk to Swindon networking group Business Village next month.

Carl – who wrote The Caveman Principles, about dealing with daily stress – will be speaking at Business Village’s weekly Thursday breakfast, on July 7.

He’ll give a talk on “re-learning the routes of stress, how to deal with stupid people and how to make personal change a mammoth success”.

Based in Swindon, Carl has worn many hats through his career. He has been presented with bravery awards, attended 10 Downing Street and has local recognition for his work in a uniform. He has been mobilised to Afghanistan and been presented with a campaign medal for his work there.

In 2014 he was forced to have a rethink on the problem of stress. Through his experiences, training and research, he concluded that people only deal with the symptoms and the aftermath of stress. He prepared his Caveman Principles so that it delivered a swift impact on people’s stressful lives taking them through a journey to discover the true cause of the problem.

Business Village meets each Thursday for breakfast and networking at The Campanile Hotel, on the Delta Business Park, Swindon, from 7.30-9am. The group charges no membership fee, just £10 per visit, and all are welcome. To book, visit www.businessvillage.org
