Businesses will be given tips on how to grab their audience’s attention, at a talk by experienced presenter Michael Trigg.
Michael, a business coach who runs The Presentation Maestro and has published books on presenting, will be giving a talk to Swindon networking group Business Village, at its meeting on Thursday July 23.
In an interactive session, Michael will show how, if the rights tools are used, anyone can capture an audience in the first minute and hold their attention throughout.
“Business owners sometimes need to stand up and talk about what their business does and why they are worth listening to,” said Michael. “How they do this can often be the ‘difference that makes the difference’. It can make people want to buy, or at least find out more, or it can do the opposite. For some this is a breeze – for others it is excruciating.”
After five years in the Army, two years in the City and six years with Procter & Gamble, Michael has been training and coaching people fulltime for 30 years. He’s worked with more than 60 different organisations, 60 different nationalities and for the last 18 years has focussed exclusively on teaching presentation mastery.
Business Village meets each Thursday for breakfast and networking at The Campanile Hotel, on the Delta Business Park, from 7.30-9am. The group charges no membership fee, just £10 per visit, and all are welcome. To book visit www.businessvillage.org
