Leading heating and plumbing company chosen for national campaign

The team at John Williams Heating Services been chosen to be part of the national Small Biz 100 campaign.

Businesses up and down the UK applied to join the national initiative designed to celebrate the importance of small businesses to the economy and to encourage people to shop locally.

A hundred companies will receive online social media coverage by Small Business Saturday 2015 – culminating with Small Business Saturday on December 5.

John Williams Heating Services, based on the Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate in Chippenham, will be featured online on Thursday September 24. During that day, news about the company, its services, staff and ethics will be shared by the Small Biz Saturday campaign.

Debbie Williams, co-founder of John Williams Heating, said: “We’re delighted to be selected as one of the Small Biz 100. We believe strongly in our own business and in supporting other local businesses, in being active in our local community and local chambers of commerce.”

Another Wiltshire business Active Potential Therapy, also based on the Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate, has also been chosen for the campaign. Its day to be featured was Saturday August 29.

In the 100 days leading up to December 5, businesses across the UK will be featured across social media. They will also all be invited to a reception at 10 Downing Street to celebrate their success.

John Williams Heating Services won the award for the Apprenticeship Employer of the Year in the Wiltshire Business Awards 2014. It’s also won the Best Small Business and Business of the Year 2014 in the Enterprising Wiltshire awards. It’s a Which? Trusted Trader and is registered with CheckATrade.com.
