The company in charge of managing Swindon Town Centre, the inSwindon Business Improvement District (BID), has launched a new “fresh, modern, interactive” website for the town centre.
BID claims that the new website features “everything users will want to know” about Swindon town centre including a directory for shopping, leisure and business, latest news, job vacancies, what’s on, and loyalty card offers.
According to BID, it has been designed to be “more user-friendly, engaging and interactive” to attract visitors to the website who want to find out more about Swindon Town Centre.
The site will provide a “comprehensive and easy-to-navigate” guide around the shops, bars, cafés, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment available in the town centre, enabling people to find and locate what they need to make the most of their visit to the town centre.
Swindon town centre businesses are now able to access their own business page and update and add details such as opening hours, job vacancies, events and loyalty card offers to ensure the latest information is available at the touch of a button.
Additionally, the loyalty card has also been refreshed. Users can now sign-up and log-in as a member and receive “exclusive discounts” from well-known retailers throughout the town centre and receive regular updates via email. Town Centre visitors can now redeem the loyalty card offers through their mobile device so they don’t have to remember to carry their card on them.
Di Powell, chief executive of InSwindon BID, said:“It is fantastic to have a vibrant one-stop-place where businesses, shoppers, visitors and residents can find out more about town centre, shopping, eating out, socialising, fitness, health and beauty treatments, planning a holiday, or enjoying the nightlife with friends and family.
“The town centre has recently welcomed several new businesses and has a lot to offer and I really hope you get the chance to explore the new website.”
