A fast-growing online disruptor platform has attended an annual careers fair for the veteran community at the iconic Silverstone circuit.

instaENG joined its sister company, Swindon-based security giant SSGC, on Thursday (24th March) for the first time at the annual National Transition Event organised by military charity, Mission Motorsport.

The event aimed to help veterans and spouses find out more about the career opportunities available to them outside the army.

Since its launch in January 2021, instaENG has revolutionised the functionalities of the electronic security industry and is continually keen to help the industry thrive.

The brand offered a unique business mentorship scheme to veterans at the event, giving them the opportunity to become suppliers on the platform. Brand representatives were in attendance to provide an inside look on how to use the platform to bid for security engineering jobs.

David Stubbs, Co-Founder of instaENG and CEO of SSGC was in attendance to provide career advice and passenger rides around the track with his racing team, StubBurn Motorsport.

David said, “instaENG has had a massive growth curve since its launch early last year and we are continuing to do well every month.

“The platform has really revolutionised how the electronic security industry works today, and we are proud to be the new kids on the block who are driving some much-needed change to what we believe are old and antiquated work practices.

“We strongly believe there is an appetite for more business in the industry and are keen to help those within the veteran community find their voice in the electronic security space.”

The platform boasts a specific set of bid management tools, smart algorithms and a user-friendly interface where customers can post security engineering jobs that businesses or sole traders can then directly bid for.

David added, “SSGC has been working with Mission Motorsport for several years now, having donated more than £50,000 to its cause so far.

“Supporting the veteran community is central to the ethos of our business and we are delighted to bring instaENG on this journey with us now.”

According to organisers, the event was a massive success with David offering passenger rides to hundreds of veterans in his Audi R8. Sir Chris Hoy and Ben Collins were also in attendance, discussing their own experiences.

Mission Motorsport is SSGC’s dedicated charity which helps veterans and service personnel recover and reintegrate through its mantra ‘race, retrain, recover’.
