Start-up firm Amaroc, based on the River Ray Industrial Estate in Swindon is celebrating its first year in business. Amaroc focusses on the fast growing external wall insulation (EWI), render and plastering trade.

The company was founded by Dan Godwin and Phil Llewelyn who saw a gap in the market for render and external wall insulation material and advice.  A year ago the company opened its premises and launched a new e-commerce website after forming partnerships with the leading names in the trade such as KRend, Jub, British Gypsum, Marshalltown and Refina. Amaroc stock a full range of materials and tools and are the first specialist Refina Spray Centre in the whole of the UK.

Within the next year the company plans to further increase its industry standing, creating a position for itself in amongst its largest competitiors. The immense success of the past year and the foundations for future growth are owed in great part to generous support from the local building trade.

Joint founder Dan Godwin said: “We look forward to welcoming professionals to our showroom which has on display a large range of products. It’s a competitive industry,  but we’re trying to be different. We are very customer focussed and offer a personal service. We have a strong technical team with many years of rendering experience behind us, so feel free to use us for impartial advice with projects.”
