Hot boxing talent wins support of local businesses

Nineteen year old, Swindon boxing talent Ryan Martin has won the support of local businesses Verelogic Group and Core Construction.

Ryan who begins his boxing debut in March says the sponsorship has been a great confidence boost. Ryan commented:  “Since my decision to push ahead with my professional boxing career I knew that gaining sponsorship would be vital to my success.  So far the funds have been used to pay for additional training activities to help me reach peak fitness.  The generosity of these two local businesses will make a massive difference to support my dream of becoming a world class boxer into a reality.”

Kevin Metcalfe, CEO of Verelogic group said,” We are delighted to be able to offer our support to Ryan.  He is an amazing local talent and we are pleased to give him our backing to help take his boxing career to the next level”.

Sponsor, Jason Mazzotta, of Core Construction also commented, “This is a very exciting and unique opportunity to be able to support home grown talent.  Ryan clearly has a strong will to succeed, he has a passion for the sport and the ability to go far.  We wish him every success and look forward to supporting him in his debut and tracking his career”.

Ryan has been taken under the wing of Swindon boxing promoter Keith Mayo and makes his professional debut at Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre on March 14.
