A specialist telemarketing company has more than doubled its number of staff in six months, and is planning to relocate thanks to an influx of new clients and an increase in its range of services.
VHO, based in Swindon, is a business-to-business lead generation company specialising in technology and catering for the large number of technology-based businesses setting up in or relocating to the town.
The company began the year with six people and now, thanks to large business wins, has grown to 15-strong and is still recruiting. Currently based in Commercial Road, VHO plans to relocate within the town by the end of the year and is looking at potential sites.
The company specialises in one area of technology – enterprise mobility – which refers to the ever-increasing implementation of devices and wireless networks within a business to increase operational efficiency and workforce productivity. Applications range from a ruggedized bar code scanner, to inventory tracking, to full warehouse management systems.
Martin Dugan heads up VHO, along with its sister company The Business Generation Group, a more general telemarketing company also based in Commercial Road. Both businesses will be relocating.
Martin puts the company’s success in part down to adopting the same techniques for growth as are used for clients.
