By Ben Carey on 12 March, 2024

Heywood House near Westbury is inviting the business community to attend the next event in its Toast Talks series.

The breakfast event will take place on Wednesday 24th April at the classic country estate which offers a wealth of modern office space and conference facilities.

Positioned within 35 acres of private grounds with its own lake, gardens and views of the Westbury White Horse, Heywood House is creating a thriving business community in the heart of West Wiltshire.

The guest speaker for Toast Talks is Pippa Birch (pictured above), Founder and Owner of Pipster Solutions, a Heywood-based company providing practical help for winning public sector work.

Pippa has been a Bid Writer and Manager for over two decades, freelancing for eight years before founding her company in 2012. She was recently recognised in the #ialso100 campaign for her knowledge and enthusiasm for the bidding profession.

During the pandemic, Pippa started #ThursdayThrong – an online community group which allowed bidding professionals to connect, share knowledge and feel less isolated.

She has also created #BidBites – a monthly, hour-long Zoom session focusing on a different bid-related subject each month and sharing professional thoughts across the bidding community.

In addition to writing regularly for bidding publications and speaking at industry events, Pippa also takes an active role in mentoring and supporting other bid professionals and local organisations.

During the event Pippa will offer practical advice on how to score highly with the evaluators in your submissions for public sector work, offering you an improved chance of winning.
