Family firm John Williams Heating Services has agreed to sponsor Chippenham’s pancake race later this month – having been its sponsor from the beginning.

The team which employs 26 people from their premises on the Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate, will also be entering at least one team in the race on Tuesday 25th February.

Debbie Williams, co-founder, said, “We are so pleased to be asked to be involved with this fun community event again. It’s a lovely moment to look forward to at the start of the year. We hope to put in at least one team from our staff and a warning to all – we are very competitive and we love pancakes!”

Organised by Chippenham Town Council and the local BID, Chippenham Connected, the event is about bringing the local community together. Pancakes are being supplied by one of the town’s market traders Rolling Stoves who will also be selling pancakes to eat before, during and after the event.

There will be three races – children, adults and business teams. Participants can register on the day at 3.45pm in the High Street or in advance by calling 01249 446699 or emailing enquiries@chippenham.gov.uk

John Williams Heating Services is a Worcester accredited installer, Gas Safe registered and a member of Oftec, the trade association monitoring best practice in oil heating installation and repair. For more details visit www.jwheating.co.uk
