Have you nominated your favourite Bradford on Avon business?

The countdown is on for nominations in the third Bradford on Avon Business Awards. Anyone wishing to nominate themselves or another business in the town has until 6pm, this Sunday July 29.

The 2017 awards saw 113 nominees across 16 categories and over 4,500 votes were cast, nearly double the figure of the first awards hosted in 2016.

BoA Business Award winners are decided by a public vote, which this year goes live on Monday August 6, 2018. The awards will culminate in an awards dinner on Thursday October 18, 2018 at St Margaret’s Hall, Bradford on Avon.

The award scheme is open to all businesses in the following areas:

  • Bradford on Avon
  • Holt
  • Limpley Stoke
  • Monkton Farleigh
  • South Wraxhall
  • Staverton
  • Westwood
  • Wingfield
  • Winsley

It costs just £5 for each category entered. The categories have been refreshed for 2018 to include a ‘Putting BoA on the map’ award a ‘Making your customers smile’ award and a ‘Business success of the year’ category. Entrants of the ‘Business success of the year’ category will be asked to make a short presentation, and the winner will be voted for by attendees at the awards ceremony. The organisers have also included an ‘other’ category, which nominees can suggest.

Past winners include Groovy MooversDoghouseThe Weaving Shed, Systemagic, Cumberwell Park, Jeremy Jenkins and Widbrook Grange.
