Have a swim, make a splash, enjoy yourself & raise some cash!

The Swindon North Rotary Club are urging businesses, clubs or groups of friends to take part in their Swimathon fundraiser. The event will raise much needed cash for Swindon’s Prospect Hospice  and a charity of the participants choice.

The Swimathon will take place on Saturday April 26 at Next Generation Fitness Centre, Kembrey Park, Swindon from 12 midday.

To take part all you need to do is organise yourselves into teams of four and start collecting sponsorship. The Swimathon is not a race or a marathon – each team will swim for 55 minutes, just one member at a time – and everyone will receive a medal and certificate to verify how many lengths they swam. The swimmers will be responsible for handing their sponsorship money to the Rotary Club who will then distribute it 50/50 to Prospect Hospice and the team’s chosen charity.
