The 2017 Happiest Workplace Competition awards ceremony – which is now in its third year – was hosted by Corsham-based Hartham Park.

Won this year by Circle Bath Hospital, and staged by Bristol’s workplace and interior design consultancy Wylde IA, the awards aim to “find the very best workplaces in the South West.”

Circle Bath Hospital, which is situated just outside Bath, received the accolade after judges were said to have been “genuinely impressed and inspired by the ethos, environment and the staff” at the Hospital.

Sam McGladdery, sales and business development manager at Hartham Park, said: “We like to recognise and celebrate happy workplaces – so we were thrilled Wylde IA chose our venue for their Happiest Workplace awards. It was a great opportunity to showcase not only our State Room, but also our newly refurbished front of house area, with reception, new meeting room and café designed by Maxine and her team at Wylde IA. Congratulations to all the happy winners!”

Paul McGaughey, general manager of Circle Bath Hospital, added: “We are delighted to have won this award. Our staff are a fantastic group of people who, through their dedication, skill and positive attitude deliver a fantastic service to our patients. We have worked hard on embracing a well-being programme for everyone who works at Circle, offering fun and healthy activities.”

According to the judging panel, it was evident that Circle Bath employees are “passionate and proud” of their work with all staff having a voice and feeling valued whatever their role. They described the management style and culture as “approachable and open.”
