Growing Cirencester business group switches venue for 2017

Leading Cirencester business support group, Rekindle, is on the move for 2017.

The networking group meets monthly and attracts around 50 businesses to each event, from all over Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. It will be based at the Royal Agricultural University and the first meeting is on January 20, in the university’s Kenneth Russell room.

The format for the group, which had been meeting at the Stratton House Hotel, will remain the same – with lunch, presentations and networking – but founder Virginia Stourton is keen for the emphasis to move further towards business development.

“Our new venue will better suit our purpose, which is to be more than just a business networking group but to provide a really supportive structure for new and established business,” said Virginia, who has run her own businesses for 30 years.

“We launched our business support package earlier this year, and having a new venue will help cement this in the minds of our members and visitors.”

The package includes a variety of benefits for businesses, all based on the experience of Rekindle founders and members.
Rekindle meets every month from 11.30am to 2pm. It costs £5 for members. Visitors can attend twice before joining, at a cost of £20 per event and all are welcome. To book, visit
