GR8PAY launches online system to rival Paypal

A new Swindon-based e-Commerce payment start-up company is planning to disrupt the online payment market.

GR8PAY has successfully secured funding from international technology investors, enabling the business to break into the UK online payments market.

CEO and Founder, Jamie Hall, has a background in IT development and successfully created one of the UK’s first email and SMS marketing companies.  Jamie made a career as a professional golfer for 15 years, before joining the South African firm YomanE to help design, position and create their closed loop payment gateway.

The company currently employs 18 members of staff and has plans for growth over the coming months to add capacity to its customer service, client acquisition and partnerships teams.

GR8PAY has set itself the ambitious goal of becoming the number one e-commerce payment gateway in the UK, for both merchants and web developers.

The portal has easy integrations into WordPress and Magento, with interfaces already up and running into WooCommerce and many other platforms.

GR8PAY’s payment portal offers a multitude of benefits to businesses looking to take payments online; the coding behind the gateway is highly secure and PCI level 1 compliant, with a host of complex data algorithms designed to prevent fraud and keep merchants and their buyers safe.

Businesses who choose GR8PAY as their payment partner will have access to features which are usually only available at a much higher price point.

One such feature is GR8PAY’s POS on Mobile, which enables merchants to use their phones, tablets or laptop to take card payments at point of sale. The system’s portal also enables businesses to have an unlimited number of virtual terminals, allowing multiple staff members to take card payments from anywhere with a 4G or Wi-Fi signal.
