It’s such a great night out and a real opportunity to network with your peers in a completely different setting – some great business relationships and friendships have been formed in previous years. It’s always a sell-out evening so I would advise people to get their tickets now. Team Inspire look forward to seeing you there.”
One of the key sponsors for the awards is Old Mill accountants. They are sponsoring the ‘Most Innovative Product or Service’ and have said of their sponsorship “The definition of Innovate is described in the Oxford Dictionary as “make changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products”. Whether in sccounting, business advice or financial planning, Old Mill have found great success in being the innovator to our clients’ aspirations and we are delighted to recognise and reward this skill within the local business community.”
Old Mill will be joined by other awards sponsors including; Milsted Langdon for the ‘Young Entrepreneur Award’, The Enterprise Network for the ‘Small Business’ award, Coombe Castle International for the ‘Exporting’ Award and Wiltshire College are sponsoring the ‘Apprentice Employer’ award. Monahans are sponsoring the Manufacturing award and Simon Cooper, partner, said: “We are really pleased to be supporting and sponsoring the Enterprising Wiltshire Awards ceremony on March 18. This is the third year that Monahans has chosen to support the awards and this year we are sponsoring the manufacturing award to reflect the important role that manufacturing plays in the economy. Manufacturing businesses are diverse in their nature, often form the backbone of local economies and bring opportunities for employment and innovation. We believe that these businesses should be recognised and supporting this event gives us the opportunity to do so.”
Winners of the eight categories will each receive a cash prize of £1,500 provided by Wiltshire Council. The Business of the Year will receive an additional £500, bringing its total prize to £2,000, but most importantly a comprehensive package of business support, advice and networking opportunities provided by Inspire.
