Preparations for Get Connected Swindon & Wiltshire on the 16th October (this Wednesday) at STEAM Swindon are gathering pace.
The event – which is about helping large, medium and small-sized established businesses and locally-based corporates, Start-ups and Pre-Start-ups to get networked and better known in the regional business community – also aims to inspire business growth with a comprehensive free business seminar programme.
The seminar programme includes:
Leading through Change: Strategic leadership tools and techniques to help you and your business thrive in uncertain times.
Hosted by John Chisholm MSc, Managing Director of Bath-based training company Crescente, this presentation will feature useful strategic leadership tools and techniques tailored for use in small businesses. These practical techniques will help you to clarify your current position, analyse the competitive environment and build a strategic advantage. John will also address common personal barriers to change. People attending the session will be given an access code to download free copies of the tools and techniques presented and a discount code for Crescente self-study leadership courses.
Supercharge your Business – Build a World-Class Operation (Keynote)
In this session, Emma Kersey, Head of Growth Academy at Elation Experts, will share Elations’ award-winning system for building and growing a world-class business – ‘The Growth Framework.’ Delegates will walk away with the critical principles needed to embed in their business and create a blueprint for change which will propel their business to world-class.
Alongside the seminars there will be networking events including specific-sector or themed networking for Property & Construction; Creatives & Marketeers; Start-ups and young businesses; Techies & Entrepreneurs.
John Chisholm said, “I’m super-excited to be speaking at the Get Connected Swindon & Wiltshire Expo on Wednesday. By attending the event businesses from the region will get practical tools and fresh ideas to plan for the future. The Expo is also an opportunity for businesses to come together to network as well. See you there!”
