Free marketing support for food and drink producers in Wiltshire

The Swindon and Wiltshire Growth Hub are sponsoring a programme of workshops to help local food and drink producers enhance their marketing skills. This series of events is designed to help address social media know‐how, develop marketing skills and to share tips and tools on developing a marketing plan and how to implement it.

All events are FREE to those involved in food and drink in Wiltshire with the opportunity to register for as many events as you wish.


To add extra flavour to the event programme attend one of their site visits and hear first hand from two companies who have been through the journey of diversification and growth.

  • Thursday April 28 at Tracklements, near Malmesbury
  • Tuesday May 17 at Boyton Farm, near Warminster


Do you have a product idea or are you already marketing a product and want to know if it is
right for the market?

This course will help you assess whether it’s fit for market and will appeal to customers. You will
gain insight into maketting tools to help you with the practical issues of developing new
products, markets and customers.

A full one‐day workshop will be held on the following:

  • Tuesday April 12 in Royal Wootton Bassett
  • Tuesday May 10 in Salisbury


Do you know your tweet from your hashtag, your post from your boards?

This half‐day workshop will help you learn how to make the most of social media channels
and plan campaigns on the likes of Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram.

It will help you decide what’s right for you and provide you with plenty of tips about how to
get the best out of each one.

A half‐day workshop (9.30am to 1pm) will be held on the following dates:

  • Monday April 11 in Royal Wootton Bassett
  • Wednesday April 20 in Castledown, Ludgershall
  • Tuesday April 26 in Trowbridge


Do your customers instantly recognise your brand? Does your brand permeate everything that
you do.

The course will assist you in gaining a better understanding of brand development. It will
enlighten you about what makes for an emotive brand, as well as reviewing visual identity and
how to bring your products to life on shelf.

There will be an opportunity to share your brand with industry experts and discuss any issues
you feel you have. You will also hear about the latest trends in rural food business.

The workshop is led by The Collaborators a brand design agency, who specialise in food.

A full one‐day workshop (10am to 4pm) will be held on Tuesday May 24 in Trowbridge
