Entrepreneurial flair flourishing in Chippenham

Young Chippenham resident Jess Baker has opened a new baby and toddler store at Emery Gate Shopping Centre, in the heart of Chippenham.  At just 28 years old, the former Sheldon school pupil officially opened the door to Twinkle Twinkle, offering perfect outfits for little stars, baby toys, accessories and much, much more.

Commenting on the opening, Jess said: “I have over eight years retail experience in Chippenham and saw a gap in the market and thought why not give it a go.  I get my entrepreneurial flair from my dad who has always encouraged me to be my own boss. Being in Emery Gate was important to me as it is the heart of shopping in the town. I’ve only been open for a short period and I am overwhelmed by the response already and want to say a big thanks to people of Chippenham,  I hope it will be a big success.”

Phil Maclean, Retail Marketing Manager for Emery Gate, said: “We are all so impressed with Jess, at such a young age to have the confidence to be her own boss is a great sign for Chippenham and its future. We hope that shoppers continue to support Twinkle Twinkle and help Jess along the way to be successful for years to come.”
