Demand is high for places at carers and dementia event at Arval

Swindon employers are being encouraged to book as soon as possible for Carers and Dementia: what employers need to know being held at Arval on October 7.   The event is being staged by the Swindon Mindful Employer Network and looks at the impact of dementia on the workplace and the importance of employment for carers. With backing from Influence which represents local businesses in the town and support from Arval UK, this initiative has attracted plenty of interest from local employers.

Melanie Richens, Chair of the network, said: “We still have a few places left for this session which is free to attend for local employers in Swindon – so I encourage businesses to book today and join us at Arval for this interesting event. Carers and dementia are two important areas which employers need to appreciate as employment trends are changing and we all live longer. Dementia has recently received a considerable amount of media interest and right now is the time for businesses to reflect and act on this issue.”

Places for this event are available for representatives of Swindon Employers only. Booking is essential.
