Time is running out to sign up and participate in Excalibur Communications’ bid to secure the largest number of people taking part in a Swiss Ball exercise class, which is being held on Saturday October 1.
Since the recent announcement of the event, from which funds will help charities such as Jessie May, a Children’s Hospice at Home charity, interest has been brisk as Excalibur heads towards the 500 people it needs at David Lloyd.
“We’ve had people of all ages coming forward so far”, said Excalibur’s Marketing Manager, Sara Witham. “You need to be over 13, but that aside, the door is still open to everyone to come and be part of a potential world record. Even though we didn’t quite get there last time (two years ago), it was a memorable day – great fun and good exercise”.
Those wanting to be part of this potential world record breaking team can register for free at: www.ballsbounceback.co.uk. A donation of £10 towards the Younite charities is recommended – and all participants get to keep their Swiss Ball (which is worth more than £10).
In addition to the Jessie May children’s hospice at home charity, money raised on October 1st will also go to BIOS, a Swindon-based youth work project, and The Melon Mission, a family run project in Kenya supporting orphaned and destitute children.
