The Chippenham Business Improvement District (BID), in conjunction with the Chippenham Town Council and Chamber of Commerce, is inviting Chippenham residents, businesses and people who work in the town to share their views in an easy-to-complete online survey. The information collected will prove invaluable in the development of new branding and promotional activity to encourage more visitors and businesses to Chippenham.

The survey is live for the next two weeks at and asks basic questions to help the BID team get a better understanding of the reasons people visit the town, and what needs to be done to encourage more visitors.

BID Manager Carolyn Brownell said β€œIt is vital that we understand exactly how people feel about Chippenham – who they are, what they do, and how they view the town. Our ongoing promotional activity needs to reflect the ambitions of the people and businesses of Chippenham. And as local people will have the best grasp of the town and what needs to be done, we are keen to make sure their opinions are heard and included in our planning. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and will be hugely important, so I am appealing for as many people as possible to take part and have their say on the future of the town.”

The results of the survey will help shape a new branding for the town which will be unveiled in June 2015.
