To mark International Women’s Day 2023, which this year took place on Wednesday 8th March, we’re celebrating some of Swindon and Wiltshire’s most inspiring women.
Through our social media channels, we asked our readers which women in our community inspire them and created a list of 20. The list is printed in our Feb/March magazine and from Wednesday 1st March, every weekday throughout the month we are profiling and championing each of these fantastic women online and via our social feeds.
Today we put the spotlight on Danielle Holmes…
Danielle is Director at Calne-based Black Nova Designs along with her husband Kyle. Working closely and sharing a business with your spouse isn’t always easy, but Danielle has become an integral part of the Black Nova group.
An accomplished saleswoman and marketer in an industry she confesses to have ‘known nothing about’ prior to embarking on this journey, Danielle has been the solo driving force of sales and marketing strategy at Black Nova for the past eight years plus, achieving over £1.3m in sales.
Now leader of a multi-award-winning website design, hosting and IT solutions company and an expert in her own right, Danielle is passionate about empowering working women and helping them to reduce the pressure they put on themselves to maintain a ‘perfect’ balance; be successful at work, home, as a parent and still appear put together. Danielle wants to spread the message that: you don’t have to have it all together to be a success!
